so here’s the deal. last month i wrote this wishful thinking list. this month i found the apartment. 5/6 is pretty great for meeting wishlist standards. but i need a job, and the ad is in today’s paper. here’s to finding a job WEDNESDAY!

things i've learned so far, part 2:
when you live on top of a hill you must walk uphill every time you go home.
lots of dudes walk around together. this makes me question my decision to walk alone. lots of dudes grocery shop together too, which i’m not used to seeing.
my lips hate this weather.
impulse buying has been officially curbed due to lack of purchasing opportunities.
craigslist is legit here, and is used...

things i've learned so far:
gas is very expensive here. perhaps public transportation is more affordable?
my store in texas was much fancier than the one here.
it is not as cold as people had said it would be. overcast, yes. cold, comparable.
i miss familiarity. a few people in particular, but these are people i haven’t been with in months. i love it, and i hate it.
