Mark this as the first wonderful and hope-filled dream I’ve blotted out for the purpose of trusting Christ, rather than myself, to protect my friendships.
I was walking through a road tunnel and off to the side was an older couple. They were kneeling side by side with a stream of blood flowing underneath them to the road. He was sneezing blood, she was flossing her teeth out of her mouth.
Faye: We’re always on the same page, with the exception of Justin Bieber of course.
Kayleigh: Never say never.

Came across this picture the other day. I’m thankful to have lived in this sweet little apartment, but even more thankful that I no longer have it. When the opportunity to move in with housemates was realized and the reality of moving out of comfort hit, my heart was stressed. God brought me out of a place where my identity was so wrapped up in independence and comfort, and into community where I’m free to live out of the identity of one who is known, forgiven, and loved.
